Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Barbary Monkey Forest – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert & Luxury Camp

Your ultimate Morocco desert tour begins with an early morning pickup from your accommodation in Fes. We set off toward the breathtaking Sahara Desert, making our first stop in Ifrane, often referred to as the "Switzerland of Morocco," known for its alpine-style architecture and crisp mountain air. From there, we journey into the lush Cedar Forests of Azrou to visit the famous Barbary monkey forest, where you can spot and feed the native Barbary macaques in their natural habitat. As we descend the Middle Atlas Mountains, the landscape shifts into the dramatic red gorges and sweeping palm groves of the stunning Ziz Valley oasis. By late afternoon, we arrive at the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga. Swap your vehicle for a traditional camel trek across the rolling dunes just in time to witness a spectacular Sahara sunset. Arrive at your luxury desert camp, where a traditional Moroccan dinner awaits. End the night under a canopy of stars, enjoying live Berber music around a roaring campfire.

Overnight: Tiziri Camp or Sahara Eden Camp (Half Board - Dinner & Breakfast included)

Day 2: Merzouga Sahara Desert – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges

Wake up early to catch a magical desert sunrise over the dunes before enjoying a fresh breakfast at camp. Today, we leave the deep Sahara behind and head toward the ancient town of Rissani, the historical capital of the Alaouite Dynasty, famous for its vibrant traditional souks. We continue our journey toward the towering limestone cliffs of Todra Gorges. Walk along the narrow canyon floor where vertical rock faces rise up to 300 meters overhead—a paradise for rock climbers and nature lovers alike. In the afternoon, we wind through the spectacular landscapes of the Dades Valley, known for its fascinating geological rock formations called "monkey fingers."

Overnight: Dades Paradise or Dar Blues (Half Board - Dinner & Breakfast included)

Day 3: Dades Gorges – Valley of the Roses – Ait Benhaddou Kasbah – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech

On the final day of your Fes to Marrakech desert excursion, we travel through the scenic Valley of the Roses (Kelaat M'gouna), famous for its organic rose water production. Next, we arrive at the crown jewel of Moroccan architecture: the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou Kasbah. This ancient fortified village is one of Morocco's most famous movie locations, having served as the backdrop for iconic films and series like Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, and Game of Thrones. After exploring the Kasbah, we begin our scenic drive across the majestic High Atlas Mountains via the thrilling Tizi n'Tichka pass (2,260 meters above sea level), offering panoramic views of traditional Berber villages nestled into the mountainsides.
